What is the chance of a White Christmas in 2022?

The Cookies enjoing the snow

Will it snow on Christmas Day? It would be magical.

A White Christmas for 2022? According to the British Weather Services this year we stand the best chance of having a White Christmas since 2010. But which are the areas most likely to see snow?

Well, if you live in Scotland, it's far more likely than if you live on the south coast, so here are the odds that we know today (2-12-22) :

  • Glasgow and Edinburgh - both (4/1)
  • Leeds (5/1)
  • Birmingham (11/2)
  • London is less likely at (6/1)
Here’s what the odds are looking like around the UK for snow on Christmas Day:

  • Glasgow (Airport) 4/1
  • Edinburgh (Airport) 4/1
  • Leeds (Leeds-Bradford Airport) 5/1
  • Birmingham (Airport) 11/2
  • London (Airport) 6/1
  • Belfast (Airport) 6/1
  • Manchester (Airport) 13/2
  • Cardiff (Airport) 8/1

Freezing weather is due in from Scandanavia around 10th December - so get ready for that big chill!

Tog up for the arctic cold

We have so many thank you messages from Mums who discovered that their kids love being outdoors in the cold for longer since they got their Warm Wellies. That's because the 4mm of neoprene lining gives so much warmth and comfort that they don't complain of cold or frozen toes.

You won't have to layer up with lots and lots of socks. Our wellies are also very good to slip on and off, so when the kids come back inside for a warming hot chocolate or some chocolate treats off the Christmas tree, they'll be inside in an instant.
