Best neoprene lined wellies for dog walking

The best neoprene lined wellies for dog walks are...

Super comfy, warm, and with great grips - you get all that with a pair of our Warm Wellies

When you need the best neoprene wellies for welly walks with the dogs, trekking through muddy fields or squelchy paths, then our Field Wellies and Heavy Duty Wellies are just the job. They've been tested on farms and on dog walks, so we know they are as good as any other wellies out there.

We have so many customers that have dogs - and they love Warm Wellies for dog walks because they are super comfy and very warm. And with great grips on the bottom they are as sturdy as can be when sliding through mud.

Neoprene is great for lining wellies - not only does it give you extra comfort (4mm of neoprene makes for cosy feet), but it also keeps you warm. Great insulation is just what you need when out in freezing cold temperatures - or if crossing rivers to catch the ball when your faithful hound has had enough and found something more interesting to explore.

No welly will give you 100% antislip technology - and lets face it, we've all skidded, slid and slipped in wellies, but we paid special attention to how they work across fields so we know the grips on the bottom of our wellies are generally good at their job.

Where do you wander with your dogs?
We are fortunate to be able to travel across wide open fields, but if you don't have a farm, you need to stick to footpaths and parks or even canal walks.

Since lockdowns there are an incredible 3.5 million MORE dogs than before the pandemic. So we thought we'd cehck out a few websites to find the best tips on dog walking etiquette, so here are a few we found:

Bounders not encouraged - we all love friendly dogs, but seriously, if you see a dog on a lead, it is very important that your off lead dog doesn't go bounding up and does come back to you on a recall. Not all dogs are keen on strange dogs - a bit like people, they are all different.

Do work on your recall, even if you need high value trets, it's sensible to pop your dog back on a lead when passing people, horses, or dogs that are on a lead or in training.

Do pick up the poo - and don't just leave a bag somewhere and forget about it.  Farmers' fields are not really toilets, and dog poo can cause illness in animals - so be respectful.

A few don'ts ...

  • Don't talk to others on your phone when out walking the dog - it doesn't give them the time they deserve, and won't help in their training.
  • Whilst it's nice to play with other dogs, don't use it as a substitute for exercise
  • If you play ball, remember to think about their joints so don't overdo it.
